BEACH OLYMPICS
A fun and dynamic approach to team building, this original and challenging series of beach games is loads of fun! Beach Olympics offers several team building activities such as team cheers, a variety of races, volleyball and more. Beach Olympics can be tailored to the specific interests, athletic capabilities, and location of a group. They may take place on a beach close to your hotel or on a deserted island. A large variety of boat transports can be arranged to transport your guests to a pristine deserted island. Click here to visit our Ultimate Get Away Program Team Cheer Each Team will be given three minutes to develop a spirited cheer that will become their team’s rallying call. Each cheer will be judge on creativity, originality & choreography. Firemen’s Hustle Teamwork is very important as each team competes to fill their punctured barrel with water to designated mark. The team who reaches the mark first wins. Coconut Shot Putt Each Team will have three shots putters. Each shot putter will be given three throws. Each throw must be done from within the designated circle. The distances will be tallied and the team that throws the farthest wins.
Sand Castle Competition Utilizing the corporation’s theme or other appropriate one, the group is challenged to build a sand structure that best represents what the theme means to them. The winning team is the one with the most creative and perfectly billed castle. Focuses on creativity, inventiveness and cooperation. please click on this link to view more information on the Sand Castle Competition Tug A War Have a rope with the center marked and have tow teams on each side. Have the strongest team member in the back to be the anchor. The team that pulls the hardest wins. Ping Pong Scrabble A scrabble board’s worth of lettered Ping Pong balls are tossed in the pool. The teams have to swim for the ping-pong balls and grab as many as they can. They then have to make the highest scoring word they can. The team with the highest score wins. Obstacle Course This a very active event. Teams race through a designated course which will be made up of hula-hoops, jump ropes, egg and spoon, under the limbo bars and have to rush to the finish line first. Raft Relay Race Teams must use stealth and skills to make their way through the surf to retrieve a teammate and bring them back to safety. Have three rafters and three victims, the team who saves their teammates, wins. Pass the ball The player in front must pass the ball or water balloon over his/her head to the next person. That person then passed the ball through the their legs. This continues alternating over and under until the last person as the ball or water balloon. The last person in line then runs to the front and the game starts all over again. The rally continues until the teams are back into the original position. Blanket Volleyball Each member of the team takes a corner of the blanket/towel. Volley the ball back and forth over the net using the blanket/towel only. The players on the other side of the net try to catch the bally using the blanket/towel only. The team that reaches 15 points first loose. Three-Legged Race The team is divided equally into two. One half of the team is on one end and the other half is on the other. The team should face each other distance between them. Members of team are put into pairs. The inner legs are tied together with rope. The pair runs to the opposite side of the beach, then changes the rope with the next waiting team members. This is repeated until all members of the team have run the race. The team that finishes first wins. Flour Relay Teams will sit in the sand in a straight line with one person directly behind the other. There will be a small bucket in front of the last person. A large bucket will be in front of the first person and he/she will hand, pass the flour using his/her hands only over his/her head the person behind him/her. When the small bucket at the back of the line is full, that team has won. Beach BBQ A beach BBQ at the end of the games is wonderful and can be arranged at an additional cost.
